Touching

The Touching project, which began in Cairo in 2005, ended in 2009. In 2005, I sought out spaces and places in Cairo that had gained significance for me as a comparative observer of the two cultural spaces of Orient and Occident. Historical spaces, outside and inside and always in contact with the ground in a lying position and always in the same clothing, the project ended in 2009. (BA)
